and ICF certified continuing education courses. This included a rigorous 21-week Foundations course, a 10-week Ethics course, and master classes on Executive Coaching, Small Business Coaching and Assessments. I am a Certified MentorCoach, having completed all the Mentor Coach and ICF Level 2 requirements. This includes passing the ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) exam.

A/E/C Industry Background: Armed with a BS and MS in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University, I dedicated 30 years to executive management responsibilities. This included overseeing the overall profitability and direction of organizational units for both public and private firms, managing small, mid size and large teams of 500+, as well as nonprofit leadership.

Community Outreach: Passionate about giving back, I currently serve on boards and commissions, including the NC Works Commission, Centennial Authority, and the NC State University Engineering Foundation Board, and various K-12 STEM Outreach organizations. Past involvements encompass leadership roles in organizations such as the NC Chamber of Commerce, NC Joint Legislative JOBS Commission, and serving as President of the Professional Engineers of NC.

Leadership Philosophy:
Compassion with Purpose
Throughout my career, I’ve cultivated a leadership style grounded in compassion and purpose-driven results. This approach has guided my work across a range of settings —allowing me to support both organizational goals and the well-being of individuals. I value the balance between accountability and empathy, recognizing that meaningful leadership respects both outcomes and people. Among my proudest accomplishments are raising my children and supporting their unique paths, as well as my continued commitment to community engagement and service.
Passion for Coaching
I offer the culmination of my AEC leadership experiences and a genuine enthusiasm to support clients in their unique journeys.
